Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Self-starting personality with professional appearance and manner
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry goods up to 100 lbs continuously
- Team-oriented work ethic willing to assist co-workers
- Supervisory skills including planning organizing directing coaching training and disciplining
- Proficient in operating kitchen equipment
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Demonstrated marketing and business strategy skills
- Passion for culinary excellence
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate all kitchen equipment competently
- Strong understanding of business and financial principles including budget management
- Proven ability to implement marketing techniques and develop business strategies
- Strong knowledge of food and wine pairing
- Experience in leadership roles within culinary or hospitality settings
Job Duties
- Assign and direct kitchen staff ensuring productivity while maintaining food quality
- Provide consistent training and foster a team-oriented environment to uphold standards
- Inspect daily use records with Executive Sous Chef ensuring accurate tracking of food yields and usage
- Oversee food pulling from walk-in box for daily production manage leftovers and minimize waste
- Provide verbal and written direction to staff ensuring consistency and clarity
- Attend associate meetings offer solutions and promote open communication
- Enforce good housekeeping and clean as you go policy
- Monitor staff performance ensure procedures meet department standards provide corrective feedback
- Work to achieve profitability goals by driving revenue and controlling costs
- Develop and mentor internal talent to grow into leadership roles
- Oversee kitchen and banquet management ensuring quality preparation and proper food handling
- Coordinate food purchasing develop menus and maintain costs within budget
