Job Requirements
- 8 or more years of leadership experience with four years of kitchen team leadership preferably in higher education or business dining setting
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in culinary arts or equivalent job-related experience
- Proven ability to train others and lead a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft software programs
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficient skills in math and financial management including labor and food cost controls

Job Duties
- Interact with and develop relationships with clients to provide personalized high quality culinary events
- Work directly with students, parents, and culinary team to meet individual dietary needs including allergies and medical conditions
- Visit all dining areas to assess customer satisfaction levels and implement changes
- Develop cooperative relationships with key client personnel and staff
- Respond to client, customer, and guest meal surveys and implement improvement plans
- Model Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
- Assist with development of annual budgets and work within budget
- Control labor and food cost in accordance with budget and make necessary adjustments
- Purchase all food according to budget and approved guidelines
- Prepare menu and food cost reports and review with general manager
- Ensure proper portions of food are served and monitor waste to minimize costs
