  • advanced knowledge of food preparation, flavor combinations, and various cooking methods, especially those used in hearth cooking

Job Duties

  • support the kitchen team: train, mentor, and inspire a cohesive culinary team to maintain high standards of professionalism and productivity
  • menu execution: create and evolve the menu, incorporating hearth cooking techniques, seasonal ingredients, and aligning with the restaurant's vision
  • operational excellence: maintain food safety, cleanliness, kitchen organization, and health code compliance
  • cost control and financial management: manage food and labor costs, analyze reports, and ensure profitability
  • collaboration and communication: partner with management to align culinary direction with business goals and contribute to a positive guest experience
