Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 2 years management experience
- minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
- willingness to work some evenings and weekends for special events
- ability to manage and lead a culinary team
- strong organizational skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
- have strong all-round culinary ability and strong craft skills in all areas of professional cookery including main courses, salads, sauce work, and pastry and baking
- have a strong knowledge of food and authentic cuisine
- recognize and react to contemporary trends
- use correct food terminology and cooking methods
- constantly look for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and catering service as a whole
- play a key role and enthusiastically mentor culinary personnel
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting
