Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must be able to carry 50 pounds daily
- Must be willing to set up promotional tents and tables
- Must complete onboarding process before starting
- Must have a positive and friendly attitude
- Must understand and use the agent portal for enrollments
- Must be motivated to work and engage with people
- Position available only in Los Angeles California
- Must attend onsite orientation Monday through Saturday from 10am to 1pm
- No experience required but preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills to manage the agent portal
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Ask people if they have time to talk about the California Lifeline Program
- Determine if people qualify for the California Lifeline Program
- Explain the requirements to qualify for the program
- Inform how to apply for a free phone with free internet service through the California Lifeline Program
- Set up a tent with banner and table with table cloth or just a table with table cloth at the work location
- Carry 50 pounds on a daily basis
- Use the agent portal to process enrollment applications
