Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services
- Valid certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician
- Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to adjust workflow in response to hospital needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months’ experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services
- Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in hospital environments
- Ensure timely cleaning of patient rooms and areas to support patient throughput
- Maintain an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors
- Respond to requests to adjust workflow or area assignments to meet hospital and discharge flow needs
- Follow established standards and protocols for infection prevention and disinfection
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to coordinate cleaning activities
- Uphold safety standards while handling cleaning materials and equipment
