Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- 6 months experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to perform routine cleaning and disinfecting
- flexibility to adjust workflow based on hospital needs
- commitment to infection prevention and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services preferred
- certification in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) preferred
Job Duties
- perform routine cleaning and disinfecting tasks
- ensure organized and sanitary environment for employees and visitors
- complete timely cleaning of rooms to support patient throughput
- adjust daily workflow or area assignments to meet hospital and discharge flow needs
- respond to requests for workflow adjustments
- maintain compliance with established quality and infection prevention standards
- collaborate with hospital staff to promote safety and cleanliness
