Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital setting, preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for 90 percent of the time
- Ability to lift, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to use Teletracking software and approved electronic devices
- Willingness to comply with proper safety protocols and personal protective equipment usage
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital setting, preferred
Job Duties
- Comply with proper handling and use of EVS chemicals and equipment
- Ensure EVS supply cart is filled with necessary materials at the beginning and end of shift
- Learn Teletracking software and use approved electronic devices
- Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste material
- Replenish disposable items such as soap, paper towel, and toilet paper
- Clean and disinfect equipment and furniture
- Clean up spills
- Dust high areas
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment as needed
- Provide positive interactions with patients, visitors, and staff
