Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum two years housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality preferred
- Minimum three years frontline customer experience preferred
- Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and follow oral instruction
- Must be able to communicate effectively with department staff, hospital employees, physicians, patients and public
- Must work independently using good judgment and common sense
- Must be able to apply disinfection cleaning practice as acquired through training
- Must have good customer and patient relations skills
- Must be able to handle cleaning chemicals when in use and secure from public contact
- Must be able to protect confidential patient information
- Bilingual skills preferred

Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, clinics, lobbies, and ancillary spaces
- Follow environmental services infection control practices and regulatory standards
- Use disinfection cleaning practices as acquired through training
- Communicate effectively with department staff, hospital employees, physicians, patients, and the public
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and secure them from public contact
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Work independently using good judgment and common sense
