Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
- ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals safely
- effective communication skills
- capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment when required
Job Qualifications
- Past cleaning experience preferred
- attention to detail
- ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff
- ability to respond effectively to changing demands
Job Duties
- Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
- adapt to customer needs
- maintain all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat and sanitary manner
- protect safety and health of others in compliance with preventative maintenance procedures
- inspect and judge cleaning techniques to follow
- demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions
- disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies when necessary
- diligently employ universal precautions in disposal of trash and bio-hazardous materials
- keep cart stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies and ensure chemicals are labeled
- promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships
- assist in improving productivity and efficient operations
- adhere to departmental training commitments
