Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent, GED with ability to read, write and understand English
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in environmental services or equivalent domestic experience
- Prior cleaning experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in hospitality or healthcare setting preferred
- Physical ability to move furniture and operate cleaning equipment safely
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and hospital policies
- Strong reliability and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Prior experience in environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Capacity to handle physical demands of the job
Job Duties
- Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods
- Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and ensures repairs when necessary
- Observes and reports the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures
- Accounts for cleanliness and neat appearance of assigned areas
- Follows department and hospital policies and procedures
- Learns other functions or positions to ensure satisfactory operation of the department/work unit or to permit flexible staffing assignments
- Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment and to perform duties and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Performs other related tasks or responsibilities assigned
