Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- demonstrates SPHCS standards of behavior
- performs functions, duties, and carries out responsibilities of housekeeping
- basic knowledge of cleaning methods
- ability to comply with infection control policies
- willingness to work full time day shifts
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
- good communication skills
- ability to follow detailed cleaning and infection control procedures
- ability to work well with others
- ability to respond pleasantly to requests
Job Duties
- Follow all cleaning processes as designated by training policies to ensure all areas, fixtures, and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned in a timely manner
- comply with infection control policies and procedures
- maintain good working relationships and communicate effectively with other departments, residents, families, and fellow staff
- respond pleasantly to all requests
- communicate problems encountered during daily routine to Housekeeping Supervisor
- perform any other duties assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Director
