- Prior cleaning, custodial or housekeeping experience preferred

- Knowledge of safety procedures for cleaning agents and equipment use
Job Duties
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping services to maintain cleanliness of hospital and campus buildings
- Sweep, vacuum, and wash floors using appropriate equipment and supplies
- Dust, polish, and clean interior surfaces including windows, furniture, walls, and ceilings
- Prepare beds with clean linens and manage window draperies and bedside curtains
- Clean toilets, lavatories, washrooms, and mop closets to maintain hygiene
- Distribute clean linen to patient care and ancillary departments
- Empty and reline trash receptacles safely, handling hazardous waste appropriately
- Collect soiled linen to support laundry operations
- Perform lifting and moving tasks such as stocking oxygen tanks and furniture
- Arrange and prepare conference rooms and patient care areas as needed
