Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
  • Must obtain and maintain License D with Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission
  • Must attend required training sessions
  • Able to work in varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke
  • Must adhere to safety procedures when handling chemicals
  • Ability to interact positively with guests and team members
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions when required
  • Must maintain compliance with local laws and regulations for gaming establishments

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Demonstrate excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Familiar with the use of all tools and equipment required to complete duties
  • Proficient knowledge of safety guidelines when using chemicals and equipment
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to accept performance feedback professionally
  • Maintain consistent and regular attendance

Job Duties

  • Accountable for cleanliness and overall condition of assigned areas
  • General cleaning and sanitizing of all Spokane Tribe Resort Casino areas including public spaces, windows, surfaces, and restrooms
  • Maintain cleanliness of all slot machines and non-gaming areas
  • Clean and maintain flooring surfaces by sweeping, mopping, burnishing, vacuuming, and stain removal
  • Maintain stock of cleaning materials and equipment and notify supervisor of supplies needed
  • Remove trash and recycling from all receptacles and operate trash and cardboard compactors
  • Follow procedures for handling and cleaning blood, infectious materials, or body fluids according to OSHA standards
  • Engage in exceptional guest service, answering questions, providing information, greeting and assisting guests
  • Display a positive and professional demeanor with guests and team members
  • Handle lost and found items as per policies
  • Perform other duties to support department operations
