Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center positions
- Auto insurance coverage as required
- Knowledge of maintaining sterile environments and proper cleaning procedures
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to operate basic environmental service equipment
- Good time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to follow local, state, and federal regulations
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
- Willingness to work part-time approximately 20 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Valid driver's license for positions in the Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center
- Auto insurance if applicable to the position
- Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and sterilization
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in assigned areas
- Perform various cleaning tasks in patient rooms, offices, and hallways
- Handle trash removal and linen management
- Transport supplies and maintain stock levels
- Operate environmental service equipment such as floor cleaners and vacuums
- Set up rooms as needed for medical procedures or meetings
- Communicate effectively with team members and hospital personnel
