Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old
  • high school diploma or GED
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly
  • strong guest service and problem-solving skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • must tolerate varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
  • ability to secure and maintain State or Tribal Gaming License

Job Duties

  • Practice, support, and maintain the mission, vision and values of the casino
  • be accountable for cleanliness and overall condition of assigned areas
  • perform general cleaning and sanitizing of all Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino areas including public spaces, windows, and restrooms
  • dust and sanitize furniture and equipment such as slot bases and chairs
  • maintain cleanliness of slot machines and non-gaming areas
  • clean and maintain stairwells, elevators, escalators, and people movers
  • maintain flooring surfaces by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and stain removal
  • maintain stock of cleaning materials and equipment, restock storage areas, and notify supervisor of supply or maintenance needs
  • remove trash and recycling from receptacles and dispose properly
  • operate trash and cardboard compactors following guidelines
  • follow required procedures for handling and cleanup of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids in accordance with OSHA standards
  • engage in exceptional guest service including answering questions and greeting guests
  • display a positive and professional demeanor during interactions
  • handle lost and found items per policy
  • perform other assigned tasks
