Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education diploma (ged)
- knowledge of maintaining a sterile environment including proper cleaning procedures and various equipment
- ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
- possess written and verbal communication skills
- well-developed time management and organizational skills
- ability to operate basic environmental service equipment
- prioritize assignments and work within policies and procedures
- work independently and as part of a team
- identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems
- build collaborative relationships with peers and staff

Job Duties
- maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, offices, and hallways
- handle equipment and supplies including mechanical floor cleaners and dryers
- perform trash removal and linen handling
- set up rooms as needed
- distribute supplies and maintain stock levels
- adhere to all sanitization and safety regulations
- communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
