- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- ability to read and understand material safety data sheets and chemical use instructions
- ability to fill out chemical identification stickers
- possession of Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card if working in behavioral health or senior center settings
- willingness to work full time on evening shifts including weekends and holidays
- attendance at required training schedule
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- commitment to drug-free work environment

Job Duties
- Dusting
- mopping
- scrubbing
- disinfecting
- vacuuming and polishing according to department policy and procedures
- sterilization of procedural rooms, required to terminally clean the operating rooms
- empty hampers and transport soiled linen
- empty trash and medical waste containers
- inventory, restock and replenish supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, and hand soap
- maintain cleanliness of departmental equipment and notify personnel of repairs
- perform special projects such as window washing, wall washing, and removing heavily soiled items or furnishings
- respond to questions and requests from patients, staff, and visitors
- meet or exceed customer service satisfaction goals
