Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months of customer service-related work experience required
- Completion of Environmental Services Department training program
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Ability to lift 30 to 40 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand, bend, push, and pull throughout the shift
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months demonstrated customer service related work experience required
- Successfully completed Environmental Services Department training program
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Ability to work independently and as part of a patient care team
Job Duties
- Follows department procedures to ensure a safe environment
- Performs housekeeping tasks to ensure the sanitary condition of all areas
- Performs various trash removal duties to provide a clean and sanitary environment
- Follows proper protocol to ensure safe handling and disposal of contaminated items
- Maintains bed management system for room availability
- Reports discrepancies and maintenance issues to supervisor
- Operates cleaning equipment and manages supplies efficiently
