Job Requirements
- High school grad or equiv
- Ability to work night shifts
- Physical capability to manage trash carts and perform manual labor
- Ability to adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Reliable and punctual work ethic

- Ability to follow hospital Infection Control standards
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform required tasks
Job Duties
- Collects trash carts and delivers them to assigned area according to schedule
- Responds to requests for special trash pickups and relines trash containers as needed
- Transports trash carts from collection point to designated area
- Attends all required Safety Training programs and understands responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards
- Follows Hospital Exposure Control/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens protocols
- Promotes effective working relations and collaborates within and across departments to meet goals and objectives
- Monitors and reports any equipment issues or shortages and ensures supplies are stocked
