Job Requirements

  • Fifteen years of casino gaming supervisory experience with progressive advancement
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum five years’ experience as a senior leader in large companies
  • Minimum five years as General Manager or above in competitive markets
  • Experience with properties having 1,000 or more gaming positions
  • Ability to work odd and irregular hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Live within 25 miles of the property
  • Willingness and ability to work in a smoke or secondary smoke environment
  • Obtain or ability to obtain a gaming license from the property’s jurisdiction
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal competencies
  • Demonstrated ability to handle diverse constituencies and lead multiple departments
  • Adeptness in financial management and resource planning
  • Knowledge of gaming industry regulations and responsible gaming practices
  • Technical capability to manage gaming operations and compliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a senior leader (Director level or above) in major departments such as hotel operations, gaming operations, food and beverage, finance, IT, or marketing
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a General Manager or above in a competitive market with at least 1,000 slots and table positions
  • Demonstrated success working for a large company with more than 500 employees
  • Proficient knowledge of gaming industry processes and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple large projects concurrently
  • Ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Preferred master’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or IT-related disciplines
  • Preferred skills in casino marketing, strategy implementation, contracting, negotiation, and public relations

Job Duties

  • Ensure that each property visitor feels a sense of belonging and importance
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement company plans and objectives at the property level
  • Lead and motivate leadership teams across all property departments including hotel, gaming, food and beverage, finance, IT, and marketing
  • Oversee compliance with gaming regulatory environments, Title 31, AML requirements, and responsible gaming practices
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to maximize profitability
  • Resolve conflicts and de-escalate stressful situations involving guests and team members
  • Adapt operational strategies to local community needs and competitive market conditions
