Job Description

Sports Facilities Management, LLC, managing the renowned USSSA Space Coast Complex located in Melbourne, FL, is seeking an Events Supervisor to join their Operations team. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time both indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Facility has intermittent noise

Job Qualifications

  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and long hours
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must work well with others

Job Duties

  • Perform operating procedures relating to events and programs
  • Act as a liaison between the venue and the guests
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Clean and organize designated areas for public use
  • Ensure proper set up and breakdown of equipment including sound systems, scoreboards, game fields, parking, gates, signage, tournament offices, locker rooms, restrooms, and other equipment/materials as needed
  • Maintain proper cash handling procedures
  • Assist gate staff with issues
  • Remove trash and clean restrooms as needed
  • Demonstrate ability to work closely with co-workers and park visitors
  • Coordinate operations movements as needed
  • Knowledgeable in all safety procedures with the ability to execute procedures
  • Identify risk management opportunities
  • Conduct safety inspections and enforce all safety guidelines
  • Adhere to all facility and SFM policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all local, state, health and safety laws
  • Perform all duties as assigned by management
