Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Two years of relevant experience
- Additional experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
- Advanced degree can substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Eligibility to work full-time in the United States
- Successful completion of a background check
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and manage events and conferences from concept through execution
- Ability to work independently applying sound judgment and discretion
- Proficiency in event planning, project management, registration, communication, and financial systems such as Asana, Salesforce, Canva, and Cvent
- Ability to provide lead work direction and training
- Familiarity with planning and executing large-scale events is preferred
Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee RSCA-focused events from concept through execution including signature programs
- Collaborate with campus leadership, faculty, staff, vendors, sponsors, and community partners to deliver high-quality events
- Manage event logistics, timelines, budgets, contracts, and procurement to ensure successful delivery
- Develop and coordinate event communications, registration processes, and promotional materials
- Provide lead work direction, guidance, and training to staff, students, and volunteers supporting event activities
