Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Two years of relevant experience
  • Additional experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
  • Advanced degree can substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Eligibility to work full-time in the United States
  • Successful completion of a background check

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and manage events and conferences from concept through execution
  • Ability to work independently applying sound judgment and discretion
  • Proficiency in event planning, project management, registration, communication, and financial systems such as Asana, Salesforce, Canva, and Cvent
  • Ability to provide lead work direction and training
  • Familiarity with planning and executing large-scale events is preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee RSCA-focused events from concept through execution including signature programs
  • Collaborate with campus leadership, faculty, staff, vendors, sponsors, and community partners to deliver high-quality events
  • Manage event logistics, timelines, budgets, contracts, and procurement to ensure successful delivery
  • Develop and coordinate event communications, registration processes, and promotional materials
  • Provide lead work direction, guidance, and training to staff, students, and volunteers supporting event activities
