Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to move through narrow or confined spaces
  • Ability to move over sloping or uneven surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below knees including bending and twisting

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with ability to follow event orders and instructions accurately
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions and make introductions
  • Ensure all arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders for guest information and setup details
  • Respond to special banquet event arrangements and ensure compliance
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
