- minimum one year related work experience in food and beverage or event coordination
- ability to follow safety and security protocols
- excellent communication skills
- ability to maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- able to stand, walk, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions
- make introductions and ensure arrangements are agreeable
- read and analyze banquet event orders
- gather guest information
- determine proper set up, timeline, and specific guest needs
- respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
- follow up to ensure compliance with banquet arrangements
- follow company safety and security policies
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain professional uniform and appearance
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- protect company assets
- welcome and acknowledge guests
- anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- thank guests with genuine appreciation
- communicate clearly and professionally
- answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- support team to reach common goals
- ensure adherence to quality standards
- read and visually verify information
- inspect tools, equipment, or machines
