Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to work non-management role
  • Willingness to follow company safety and security policies
  • Ability to maintain personal appearance and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure all arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine proper set up, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, and action stations
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements and follow up to ensure compliance
  • Follow company and safety policies and procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
  • Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and express genuine appreciation
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Visually inspect tools and equipment for defects
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and moving objects up to 25 pounds
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisors
