Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in event planning, marketing or communications
  • Proven ability to plan and coordinate events from start to finish
  • Strong strategic and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Communications or Event Planning
  • Creative, strategic, innovative and forward thinker with knowledge and experience in event execution logistics and traditional marketing
  • Effective communication skills across multiple mediums
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption

Job Duties

  • Act as lead planner and facilitator for all in-person and virtual Southcoast Health System events assigned
  • Work with Manager to plan events from start to finish according to objectives and target audience
  • Develop events strategy and identify opportunities for new events to strategically grow Southcoast Health's business
  • Act as primary contact for events and collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders for strategy development, content/copy development, media planning, and logistics execution
  • Cultivate relationships with donors, community partners, and various staff committees
