Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in event planning, marketing or communications
- Proven ability to plan and coordinate events from start to finish
- Strong strategic and creative thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field or equivalent knowledge and experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Communications or Event Planning
- Creative, strategic, innovative and forward thinker with knowledge and experience in event execution logistics and traditional marketing
- Effective communication skills across multiple mediums
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption
Job Duties
- Act as lead planner and facilitator for all in-person and virtual Southcoast Health System events assigned
- Work with Manager to plan events from start to finish according to objectives and target audience
- Develop events strategy and identify opportunities for new events to strategically grow Southcoast Health's business
- Act as primary contact for events and collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders for strategy development, content/copy development, media planning, and logistics execution
- Cultivate relationships with donors, community partners, and various staff committees
