  • at least 1 year of related work experience

  • proficiency in reading and interpreting banquet event orders

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/hostess prior to functions
  • make introductions and ensure all arrangements are agreeable
  • read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information
  • determine proper set up, timeline, and specific guest needs
  • respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • follow up on special arrangements to ensure compliance
  • adhere to company safety and security policies and report unsafe conditions
  • maintain professional personal appearance
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • anticipate and address guest service needs
  • answer telephones using proper etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and moving objects up to 25 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
