Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Commitment to following company and safety policies
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods

  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions and make introductions
  • Ensure all arrangements are agreeable before the event
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine proper setup
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager and complete safety training
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Speak clearly and professionally
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Inspect tools and equipment for defects
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
