Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Willingness to perform other reasonable duties as assigned
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • No supervisory experience required

  • Ability to analyze and follow detailed event orders

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions and make introductions
  • Ensure all event arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine setup and timeline
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • Follow up on special arrangements to ensure compliance
  • Adhere to all company safety and security policies
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Welcome guests and anticipate service needs according to company standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Visually inspect tools and equipment for defects
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking for long periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds
  • Navigate narrow and uneven spaces
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisors
