Job Duties
- Work with the Executive Sous Chef to lead the team in food production, compile daily mise-en-place, and ensure exceptional food quality and presentation
- Lead kitchen operations before, during, and after service while managing day-to-day kitchen needs
- Support all people leadership tasks including team recruitment, development, performance reviews, and onboarding new starters
- Monitor food quality and presentation, provide coaching and feedback to team members
- Create and maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment to protect guests and staff
- Maintain excellent food safety ratings and audit standards by monitoring procedures, keeping records, and implementing action plans
- Prepare meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables as a core member of the kitchen team
