Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or culinary certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen operation
  • Active MN Certified Food Manager credentials
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Some Spanish speaking is beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree, culinary certificate, or equivalent
  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen operation
  • Proficient in scratch cooking
  • Active MN Certified Food Manager credentials

Job Duties

  • Oversee line cooks and dishwashers on a daily basis
  • Assist with day-to-day operation of the kitchen
  • Ensure the highest level of food quality and consistency
  • Participate in food preparation
  • Assist the Culinary Production Manager with event menu research and development and item creation
  • Execute service with the assistance of the line cooks
  • Control ticket times during peak business and communicate with front of house manager if there are issues
  • Control food cost by training kitchen staff on proper food preparation and handling
  • Assist Chef de Cuisine, Culinary Operations Manager, and Executive Chef with establishing kitchen goals
  • Anticipate and resolve problems concerning all facets of the kitchen
  • Train and develop kitchen staff in all aspects of the business
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen
