Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or culinary certificate or equivalent
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen operation
- Active MN Certified Food Manager credentials
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership and team management experience
- Ability to maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
- Some Spanish speaking is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree, culinary certificate, or equivalent
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen operation
- Proficient in scratch cooking
- Active MN Certified Food Manager credentials
Job Duties
- Oversee line cooks and dishwashers on a daily basis
- Assist with day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Ensure the highest level of food quality and consistency
- Participate in food preparation
- Assist the Culinary Production Manager with event menu research and development and item creation
- Execute service with the assistance of the line cooks
- Control ticket times during peak business and communicate with front of house manager if there are issues
- Control food cost by training kitchen staff on proper food preparation and handling
- Assist Chef de Cuisine, Culinary Operations Manager, and Executive Chef with establishing kitchen goals
- Anticipate and resolve problems concerning all facets of the kitchen
- Train and develop kitchen staff in all aspects of the business
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen
