Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- 2+ years sales and/or customer service experience required
- strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
- demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- ability to travel as required
- ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
- ability to read and interpret documents and instructions
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
- ability to function in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- ability to work independently
- ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours
- must present a personal professional image
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- 2+ years sales and/or customer service experience
- strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- prior experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- demonstrated presentation skills to external customers
- proven strong organization and planning skills
- ability to excel in a customer-focused and results-driven environment
- B2B sales experience preferred
- consultative selling and hospitality experience preferred
- experience in customer/client development, consultation and retention preferred
- background in hotel events and branding preferred
- strong working knowledge of Salesforce and Office 365 preferred
- ability to work independently while fostering strong internal relationships preferred
Job Duties
- Represent FedEx Office as the on-site sales and support expert for event managers and key participants
- demonstrate consultative behaviors to deliver expert service and exceed sales targets
- attend department meetings, site visits, and planning meetings at host facilities
- act as primary relationship owner for Sales and Event Services teams within the host venue
- ensure customer and host property satisfaction throughout the sales process
- drive revenue by making sales calls on nearby hotels and convention facilities
- share leads for upcoming conventions and events
- provide quotes and follow up on bids for complex job orders
- monitor quality and timeliness of event-related work
- initiate timely contact with future groups at booking confirmation
- review strategies and performance goals with supervisors
- implement marketing plans and sales strategies
- maintain accurate CRM data
- meet or exceed HCO activity standards
- follow FedEx Office procedures and policies
- collaborate cross-functionally within FedEx
- perform other duties as required
