  • Previous experience in hospitality or event setup preferred
  • Ability to read and follow event orders and diagrams
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift moderate weight
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Set up event rooms according to event orders including tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, podiums, and decor items
  • Break down and reset rooms efficiently after events ensuring quick turnaround for next function
  • Arrange linens, skirting, and table settings as required
  • Respond to last-minute event changes or requests with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Provide friendly, professional service to guests and event planners
  • Safely move, lift, and transport event furniture and equipment
  • Ensure equipment is stored properly and kept in good working condition
