Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Production, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing preferred
- 7+ years of experience in event management, production, or related field
- Proven experience planning and executing large-scale events such as festivals and conferences
- Experience working with high-profile talent, speakers, chefs, or industry leaders
- Proficiency in event management software, ticketing platforms, and scheduling tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with vendors, sponsors, media, and industry professionals
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales, production, and editorial teams
- Knowledge of social media, PR, and digital marketing strategies for event promotion
- Experience in audience development and engagement strategies
- Leadership experience managing teams, external contractors, and volunteer coordination
- Strategic mindset to align events with company goals and audience needs
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure

Job Duties
- Lead planning, coordination and execution of various events including program development
- Maintain contact databases in Airtable for contacts, booksellers, talent/authors
- Manage marketing process including editing and proofing marketing materials, signage, ticketing pages, app, and website
- Overall management of EventApp, ticketing pages, website content, and vendor relationships
- Coordinate Book Prizes management including administration for 13 prize categories and 36 judges
- Manage social media content, scheduling, and posting across event channels collaborating with audience engagement team
- Program and manage studio presence at film festivals including editorial collaborations
- Support sales and sponsor engagement through calls, programming ideation, and activation
- Provide general project management support on events including marketing input and coordination with sales, marketing, audience engagement, and production
- Identify and recommend improvements to event processes, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration
- Manage temporary staff and vendors during events ensuring timely execution and communication
- Perform other duties as assigned
