Job Requirements
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification provided by the Parks & Recreation Department
- Must be 15 years old or older
- Must be available evenings and weekend hours
- Commitment to Miamisburg Recreation and Parks mission
- Experience supervising youth
- Comfortable interacting professionally and positively with the public and co-workers
- Ability to thrive in a teamwork environment
- Willingness to assist in the development and execution of youth activities and community events
- Ability to maintain certifications and licensure as a condition of employment
Job Qualifications

- Experience supervising youth
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of basic computer applications related to job functions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Assist in planning and executing youth games, sports, and activities
- Provide day-to-day guidance and leadership to youth during the Traveling Playground program
- Support and facilitate community events ensuring safety and smooth operations
- Collaborate with the Events Coordinator and team members to achieve departmental goals
- Communicate effectively with the public, co-workers, and volunteers
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants
- Help monitor and uphold compliance with applicable regulations and policies
