Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college or related experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Calm and solutions-oriented mindset
- Proactive and team-oriented attitude
- Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Preferred but not required previous experience in event operations, visitor services, hospitality, or public space management

- A proactive, team-oriented attitude, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs and take initiative when challenges arise
- The physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and safely lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of events on The Green, including tents, tables, chairs, lawn games, and other furnishings
- Support the operation of site infrastructure such as the Video Board and sound system, ensuring smooth execution during programs and events
- Serve as a public-facing ambassador, welcoming guests, providing event information, and assisting both visitors and vendors throughout the day
- Track and report event attendance, equipment usage, and visitor feedback to help evaluate success and inform future programming
- Prepare event execution sheets and distribute them to participating stakeholders in advance
- create event recap summaries following each event
- Maintain and organize event equipment, supplies, and storage areas to ensure readiness for upcoming programs
- Monitor the condition of The Green throughout your shift, reporting or addressing minor maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues as needed
