Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of direct event planning experience
  • available to work across various time zones and non-traditional hours as needed
  • based in Bethesda, Maryland area
  • able to work in-office
  • able to travel up to 25% during busy event season
  • able to work out of Bethesda office throughout the week
  • able to travel and attend corporate events in person
  • able to work non-traditional hours
  • able to walk and stand for hours and occasionally lift at least 25 pounds
  • able to sit for prolonged periods and use computers extensively

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of direct event planning experience in corporate, government, or nonprofit settings
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work independently and handle challenges autonomously
  • proactive in raising questions and identifying solutions
  • skilled in data collection, financial reporting, and budget management
  • collaborative team player with a hands-on mentality

Job Duties

  • Partner on the planning of various Aledade events including headquarters gatherings, Market Summits, All Staff retreats, networking and milestone events, team retreats and trainings, and user events
  • develop and execute against project plans and provide updates to planning teams, business units, and stakeholders
  • advise team members on standard protocols and recommended actions when creating events
  • manage logistical duties such as setting up registration processes, designing name badges, selecting and ordering swag items, setting up and breaking down pre and post event
  • perform additional project-based work to contribute toward Aledade's mission
