Job Requirements
- minimum 1-3 years of relevant event sales or event planning experience
- proficiency in computer usage and software related to event planning
- excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- availability to work on-site during events
Job Qualifications
- a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- refined verbal and written communication skills
- a minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning or comparable experience preferred, specifically in large market
- proficiency in general computer knowledge
- extremely detail oriented, organized and able to handle a fast paced environment
- preferred two years hotel experience or completed event management trainee program
Job Duties
- administer sales agreements for group bookings
- detail all food, beverage, and audiovisual needs
- manage room blocks and pick up
- oversee billing instructions and perform final reviews
- act as on-site contact during events
- ensure smooth execution of all events
- liaise between meeting planners and hotel staff
