Job Requirements

  • minimum 1-3 years of relevant event sales or event planning experience
  • proficiency in computer usage and software related to event planning
  • excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • availability to work on-site during events

Job Qualifications

  • a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • a minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning or comparable experience preferred, specifically in large market
  • proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • extremely detail oriented, organized and able to handle a fast paced environment
  • preferred two years hotel experience or completed event management trainee program

Job Duties

  • administer sales agreements for group bookings
  • detail all food, beverage, and audiovisual needs
  • manage room blocks and pick up
  • oversee billing instructions and perform final reviews
  • act as on-site contact during events
  • ensure smooth execution of all events
  • liaise between meeting planners and hotel staff
