Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in event sales or event planning
  • strong communication skills
  • computer proficiency
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • availability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • a minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience
  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • extremely detail oriented and organized
  • ability to handle a fast paced environment
  • preferred two years hotel experience or completed event management trainee program
  • true desire to satisfy the needs of others

Job Duties

  • administer sales agreements
  • detail all food, beverage and A/V needs
  • manage room blocks and pick up
  • oversee billing instructions and final review
  • act as on-site contact for event execution
  • liaise between meeting planners and hotel staff
  • ensure smooth execution of all events
