Job Requirements
- ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds
- must be able to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and extended shifts
- ability to bend squat and stand for long periods
- ability to manage multiple complex issues calmly
- ability to perform under critical deadlines
- manual dexterity to operate industrial power equipment
- ability to work on ladders scissor and basket lifts
- ability to endure varied noise levels from moderate to loud
- ability to work outdoors in difficult weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- associate’s degree in business management or equivalent leadership experience
- leadership experience including carpentry painting landscaping electrical and irrigation systems
- valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements
- preferred forklift and high lift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- preferred knowledge of av sound reinforcement lighting and theater scenic arts
- preferred knowledge of pneumatic and animatronic systems and controls
- preferred cdl license
- preferred osha 10 or 30 certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- preferred experience working with individuals with disabilities
Job Duties
- report suspected abuse neglect exploitation isolation and abandonment immediately as mandated by state law
- partner with team members and lead pre-production setup on-site management and strike for all on- and off-site events
- create an annual project and production calendar for events and hold weekly one-on-one progress meetings
- provide direction training coaching and certification to team members and hold daily huddles and weekly meetings
- supervise and train seasonal and on-call team members on projects and safe operation of rides and equipment
- verify and approve payroll for staff according to policies
- represent the organization positively with volunteers guests partners vendors and donors
- assist with scheduling and updating the unified event calendar
- maintain inventory control and appropriate storage of event property and equipment
- track invoices receipts and provide documentation for financial reporting
- complete maintenance requests and assigned projects
- oversee design construction and upkeep of custom scenic displays and special effects
- perform pre-opening site safety inspections and assign tasks to team members and volunteers
- work with landscape technicians to maintain live trees and plants
- update operations manuals regularly
- ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies
- participate in safety matters for facilities and events
- meet vehicle policy requirements for travel and work location assignments
- may be assigned other duties as needed
