Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years of event execution and facility coordination experience
  • availability to work evenings and weekends
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • knowledge of audio visual and sound equipment
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • customer service orientation
  • flexibility to work varied shifts

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent

  • at least two years of experience in event execution and facility rental coordination
  • experience with audio visual equipment
  • strong customer service skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • experience working in fast-paced environments

  • supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties

  • coordinate set up and take down of event assets
  • manage vendor load ins and load outs
  • operate audio visual and sound equipment
  • communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, vendors, patrons, and the public
  • manage events staff on-site
  • support the Events Director and Event Coordinators in event production tasks
  • ensure compliance with museum safety standards and best practices
