Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in event management or related field
  • 2-5 years experience managing multiple clients and programs
  • Proven success in event planning and execution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Willingness to travel throughout South Florida
  • Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts

Job Duties

  • Provide operational solutions to clients always looking for improvements and efficiencies
  • Manage all vendors required for a program
  • Own the Statement of Work any additional deposit requests and final invoicing
  • Manage assigned event staff during events and proactively prepare staff prior to an event to ensure consistent communication and operational excellence
  • Upsell services that would improve the client experience
  • Own the budget with a goal of obtaining gross profit goals
  • Connect with hotel conference service managers and onsite staff to ensure a seamless partnership for the client between DMC and hotel
  • Salesforce database management regarding ASO's and vendor information in addition to working with procurement to confirm vendors are vetted and approved
  • Ensure that KPIs and key results are measured and met
