Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- excellent communication skills

- thorough knowledge of hotel layout, function space, pricing, and event execution
- passion for high-touch service
- experience in luxury fine dining or resort hospitality
- experience in event planning
- knowledge of legal and contractual agreements
- familiarity with local cultural establishments in Napa and Sonoma Valleys
- proficiency with Google Suite applications and property-specific software such as Delphi and Opera
Job Duties
- manage all facets of corporate, weddings and social events under $100k estimated revenue
- act as liaison between clients and hotel operations to ensure successful events
- develop timelines, banquet event orders, floorplans, resumes, cost estimates, and final billing
- assist in communicating costs to clients and collecting deposits
- partner with banquets and accounting for master billing and timely invoice distribution
- attend meetings for event arrivals and daily group updates
- coordinate vendor arrangements including audio/visual needs and oversee vendor load-in and strike
- assist banquet managers and captains with event execution and coverage
- greet clients upon arrival and ensure event materials are complete
- plan and oversee pre-con meetings with department heads
- participate in weekly operations meetings to communicate group needs
- execute successful site visits and planning meetings
- upsell food, beverages, site fees, and onsite activities
- maintain cost efficiency while delivering quality
- work closely with sales and culinary teams to maximize revenue and client satisfaction
