Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience in hotel event management or group sales
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong negotiation and sales skills
  • capacity to handle detailed event planning
  • proactive team player

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience in event management or hospitality sales
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • knowledge of banquet and catering operations
  • proficiency in sales and contract negotiation
  • customer service orientation
  • familiarity with hotel event and sales software

Job Duties

  • handle local catering and group sales bookings with assigned sales quota
  • solicit new business and manage event inquiries
  • coordinate sales and oversee event logistics to ensure seamless execution
  • assist with banquet food and beverage sales and meeting room rentals
  • plan menus, agendas and hospitality amenities for events
  • facilitate communication with hotel staff before, during, and after events
  • host hotel tours and maintain strong customer relationships
