Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience coordinating weddings or similar events
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work on-site in Knoxville or Pigeon Forge, TN

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in coordination and execution of weddings or other events, preferably in a hotel, resort, or conference center environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
  • Calm and professional demeanor under pressure
  • Flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with event management software is a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist the Regional Sales & Events Director in preparing event timelines, schedules, vendor information, and task lists
  • Coordinate event details with resort departments and customers to ensure readiness and smooth execution
  • Oversee event setup and breakdown according to established plans and specifications
  • Serve as an on-site point of contact during events to manage logistics and address any issues
  • Maintain event files, contracts, and checklists to ensure accurate records
  • Monitor event progress, troubleshoot challenges, and provide post-event feedback
  • Support preparation of reports, summaries, and billing for completed events
  • Support sales efforts through site tours and client consultations
  • Participate in outbound prospecting and representation at outside events as assigned
