Job Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Parks and Recreation, Business Management, Project Management or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
- minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in programming, event management, parks and recreation operations management or related field with supervisory or leadership experience
- effective oral and written communication skills
- operational knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn recreation software
- must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within six months of appointment
- possess a valid Ohio driver’s license
- able to fulfill the physical demands of the position
- must maintain certifications and licensure as a condition of employment

Job Duties
- Plan, design, and implement events impacting all age groups
- oversee program and event implementation
- manage Recreation Team members directly
- conduct research to identify event opportunities
- collect and analyze community data and feedback
- manage event budgets and resources
- ensure excellent customer service and community engagement
