Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington state
  • Must have a valid Washington state driver’s license
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
  • Ability to perform repetitive sedentary work with occasional bending and crouching
  • Must be guest service oriented
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state
  • Must be able to be insured according to driving insurance policy

Job Qualifications

  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or four years of related experience in casino marketing or a combination of education and experience
  • Creativity and excellent writing and editing skills
  • Proven communication skills in group settings
  • Event and entertainment planning experience
  • Strong public relations background preferred
  • Highly creative with attention to detail and copywriting experience
  • Experience analyzing market trends, competition and recommending marketing expansions
  • Experience managing projects within budget and time constraints
  • Problem-solving, organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple projects
  • Guest service oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state
  • Eligible for insurance under company driving policy

Job Duties

  • Oversee the activities of the events, promotions and entertainment teams
  • Participate in formulating and administering company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives for the events and entertainment as well as the database teams
  • Coordinate and conduct drawings, events such as group activities, community events, promotions, tournaments, parties, booths, giveaways and team member incentives
  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities including online advocacy, timely editorials, community outreach efforts and promotions
  • Review and monitor overall reinvestment to ensure profitability of each event, promotion and direct mail campaign
  • Analyze response rates and profit margins of all customer database programs and make adjustments to maximize profitability
  • Approve and monitor promotions and prizes, including point multiplier strategies and bonus incentives
  • Contribute to community outreach efforts and ensure the company brand and image are upheld
  • Promote Angel of the Winds through public relations by developing and fostering local contacts and functioning as the PR liaison
  • Assist the marketing team in developing and implementing marketing and public relations strategies
  • Work closely with the analytics team and maintain communication with other departments
  • Act as a liaison with outside organizations for donation requests
  • Order and proof all event and promotional collateral
  • Interact with team members and management to ensure understanding and execution of all promotions
  • Support the marketing department with editing, proofreading, printing, distributing and processing projects and signage
  • Ensure compliance with Tribal, State, Federal and NIGC regulations
  • Select, hire, train, evaluate, terminate and recommend salary increases for staff
  • Create, implement and assess training programs
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget
  • Ensure control and protection of company assets
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
