Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in event or catering management preferably in a private club, resort, or high-end hospitality environment
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Event Management preferred
  • serve safe, TIPS, or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain
  • strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure under pressure
  • excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • solid understanding of fine dining service, event logistics, and club operations
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event management software preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee member social, private, and sporting events from concept to completion
  • collaborate with club leadership, events director, and culinary team to design and execute engaging events
  • create and maintain accurate banquet event orders (BEOs) and floorplans, communicating details effectively to all relevant departments
  • supervise event setup, decor, timing, and service flow to ensure consistency and excellence
  • attend and oversee events providing on-site leadership
  • assist in budget planning and review financial reports to align with financial goals
  • anticipate member needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
  • build strong relationships with members ensuring personalized service
  • maintain visible presence at all major club events providing hands-on support
  • gather member feedback and implement improvements
  • support development of creative event concepts fostering community
  • ensure all events align with club standards and culture
  • lead pre-event meetings with service and culinary teams
  • supervise and motivate banquet and catering staff
  • assist in training and mentoring team members
  • coordinate with facilities and sports departments for event logistics
  • participate in management meetings to review policies and enhance operations
  • oversee preparation and maintenance of event-related documents
  • monitor event areas for cleanliness and safety compliance
  • support preparation of post-event reports and recommendations
  • uphold all club policies, safety protocols, and uniform standards
