Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • At least 1 year experience in event management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate teams
  • Proficiency in relevant software
  • Availability to work full time
  • Management capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year experience in event management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with diverse teams
  • Experience in customer service and problem resolution
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office applications

Job Duties

  • Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales and property departments
  • Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces for assigned groups
  • Act as liaison between sales team and customers during pre-event, event, and post-event phases
  • Conduct formal pre-event and post-event meetings to review group needs and feedback
  • Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest problems and complaints
  • Assist in the sales process including up-selling products and forecasting event revenue
  • Review guest satisfaction feedback with employees and implement service improvements
